Win a $500 Designer Handbag

Neocon attendees  -  win a bold and beautiful Vivienne Westwood designer handbag at Takeform #8-7062.

Takeform will give away a designer handbag from internationally famous fashion designer Vivienne Westwood (valued at $500) in a drawing at NeoCon in June.  The handbag giveaway is the finale of the company's "Signage to Match” show promotion, conceived as a means of illustrating how designers can draw inspiration from virtually anything when creating signage for a space—no matter how wild.

Take, for example, the gold studded McScotty Tartan handbag by Westwood; the bold colors in the Tartan plaid fabric are reflected in a custom laminate sign created by Takeform as a visual example of where inspiration can lead.

Kurt Lyons, VP of Design at Takeform says, “We commissioned a custom laminate for the sign that is not a copy, but clearly illustrates its inspiration. The bag utilizes gold accents, so does the sign. Even the insert picks up on British decorative elements.”

The prize handbag, Derby Bag 2563, is a Classic Vivienne Westwood small Yasmine shaped bag in the McScotty Tartan from Westwood’s spring collection.  According to Westwood’s website, “This tartan is being used for the first time this season although Vivienne has been encorporating tartan fabrics into her collections since her punk period.”

The drawing, open to all show attendees, will be held at 3:00 p.m. June 15, 2011, the final day of the show.   To enter, attendees simply scan their badge at Takeform’s booth (#8-7062) and place their printout into the drawing display at any time during the duration of the show; winner need not be present to win.
