Phoenix Children's
Arrowhead Campus, Glendale, AZ
Phoenix Children’s has built a strong reputation as a leader in pediatric healthcare across the region. To meet the needs of families around the fast-growing metro, the hospital opened the Arrowhead Campus in Glendale. This new facility significantly improves access to high-quality pediatric services in the West Valley and addresses the growing demand for specialized care options.
For this prominent project, the hospital needed a comprehensive signage solution for both interior and exterior wayfinding, as well as distinguished donor recognition, all while preserving brand integrity. In collaboration with Texas-based Healthcare Graphics Consulting (HGC), we developed a cohesive signage system that prioritizes visibility and consistency. Takeform managed the planning, engineering, fabrication, and installation processes while also refining the hospital’s brand framework to simplify future signage initiatives and streamline subsequent builds.

Clear and intuitive signage is essential, serving as a beacon of hope to guide families through the overwhelming maze of hallways and rooms.
Powerful first impressions.
Exterior signage at the Arrowhead Campus plays a vital role in shaping both the hospital’s identity and the overall visitor experience. It creates a powerful first impression, reinforcing the hospital’s brand while building trust and recognition within the community. Beyond aesthetics, the signage ensures a smooth, stress-free journey by providing clear direction and easy navigation.

You have arrived.
From the moment people arrive, signage guides patients, visitors, and emergency personnel with confidence, enhancing safety and accessibility. This strategic blend of branding and wayfinding allows the hospital to efficiently serve a growing population while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.

Letters of Gratitude
Donors play a vital role in the success of Phoenix Children’s, making it possible to expand care and services for the community. Recognizing their generosity throughout the building was essential, not only to honor their contributions but also to inspire others to support the hospital’s mission. Dimensional letters were used on the walls, both inside and out, to create bold, elegant displays that celebrate the impact of these gifts. These thoughtful installations ensure donors feel valued while reinforcing the sense of community that sustains the hospital's efforts.

Signs of Growth
The hospital opened in August 2024, with plans to double inpatient capacity by 2025. Expansion is already underway, and thanks to the established brand framework, scaling the signage solution to meet future needs is smooth and efficient—ensuring consistency and a seamless patient experience as the facility grows.
