At the beginning of our collaboration, Takeform provided room signage for their locations. From the start, K+N appreciated the streamlined processes we offered. This satisfaction prompted the expansion of our relationship to include experiential graphics and leveraged our ability to provide end-to-end execution for a wider scope.

Site Surveys
Our successful collaboration with K+N relies on site surveys. This step allows us to connect with the General Contractors, inspect the environment and prepare for the intricacies of each location. For instance, K+N’s office designs commonly incorporate several window film installations. These site surveys have allowed us to inspect the glass for imperfections and ensure that the surface will accept the product flawlessly.
Project Management
Through a single point of contact, Takeform manages a wide array of responsibilities for 49 (and counting) Kuehne + Nagel locations. This includes space planning, code research, permit acquisition, and budget management. When it comes to design, we collaborate with K+N’s design firm, Arris, to ensure maximum design impact while staying within budget constraints. In the final stages, Takeform's project manager oversees on-site product installation, ensuring clear and effective communication from start to finish.
Branded Environments
K+N aims to create a sense of belonging among employees by connecting the global company with its local communities. To accomplish this, the Takeform design team conducts location-specific research for each office and uses that knowledge to inspire their design. Leveraging our products and expertise, local culture is infused into each built environment. This strategic approach not only enriches workspace aesthetics but also strengthens their brand and commitment to embracing diversity and fostering meaningful connections within their global footprint.
Design
The strong partnership between Takeform and design firm, Arris, has been integral in elevating the office environments of Kuehne + Nagel across the country. The evolution of this relationship is evident in the growing integration of custom graphics and artwork. It's our collaboration that continues to make impactful and tailored experiential graphics a reality.
Imaging
Takeform's imaging department plays a pivotal role in enhancing the visual harmony of Kuehne + Nagel's office spaces. Working closely with Arris, our team ensures that artwork and graphics perfectly complement the office's furniture and finishes. The process involves extensive sampling, often presenting 25 or more subtle color variations for the client's selection. This meticulous approach highlights the imaging department's dedication to accuracy, guaranteeing that our products are flawlessly integrated into Kuehne + Nagel's office spaces.
Fabrication
By producing products in-house, Takeform maintains direct control over quality and schedule, ensuring careful attention to detail and adherence to high standards. Our in-house processes enable this built-in flexibility and prompt responsiveness to ensure we successfully meet K+N's specifications and ultimately improve their satisfaction.
Installation
Adherence to tight schedules in busy office environments are made possible by our expert installers and backed by precise project management. Throughout our partnership, the team has masterfully installed 25,000 square feet of wallcoverings and window films in K+N offices--not to mention signage, logos and more. The continued growth of our longstanding relationship underscores the knowledge and skill of our installers in realizing the brand vision to exceptional standards.

Our Vivid sign system boasts a contemporary, single-layer construction that complements the client’s modern environment. Moreover, our innovative direct-print technology makes it possible to match signage to the brand’s exact PMS color, further emphasizing the deliberate and meticulous design strategy.

In Kuehne and Nagel office entrances, dimensional letters and logos are utilized to establish a strong brand presence. Each environment is different, so our designers adapt the illustrated timeline to ensure a perfect fit and cohesive storytelling flow. These durable aluminum-composite panels are also used to display local photography in busy hallways. Their construction and printing technology ensure they will look good for decades to come.
